This stone is a must-have in my shop for flattening and lapping plane soles. Removal of material is SO fast compared to others that I’ve used. 

Zen-Wu has a way of engineering themselves out of repeat sales with these heirloom quality tools. They heat treat the aluminum multiple times to remove any stresses so it will stay flat for life. They are so durable, you may never need to buy a flattening stone again.
