I always say good joinery is done with a pencil, but GREAT joinery is done with a marking knife. 

Also, a confession—I have a marking knife addiction (over 250 different ones). But I have to say, Zen-Wu’s knives are consistently in my top 3. It’s the first marking knife I’ve ever seen with dovetailed steel and titanium. The leather case is also great, letting you protect your tool in style.
